What’s happening

The West Kelowna Transit Survey aims to collect detailed information from both current transit users and non-users to better understand their experiences, needs, and preferences. The survey results will guide data-driven decisions to improve the public transit system based on user demand, safety and accessibility, and overall satisfaction.

From Feb. 3 - 17, this community consultation is part of a broader initiative to address community needs and enhance transportation options, with an emphasis on accessibility, safety, and convenience. It also seeks input on routing, service levels, and proposed system upgrades.

    In collaboration with BC Transit, the City of West Kelowna is seeking public input from both current and non-transit users to better understand their experiences, needs, and preferences regarding transit services. Public feedback helps shape transit services to align with users’ needs, safety considerations, and overall satisfaction. Data-driven decisions ensure an improved public transit experience for current riders and future users.
     

      Instructions:

    We encourage individuals to complete separate surveys, as each person's experience with transit is unique, even within the same household. However, the survey also allows one person to complete it on behalf of another. For example, a parent can fill out a survey for their child, or an aid may assist someone who is visually impaired.

    We acknowledge that this survey is being conducted on the traditional territory of the syilx/Okanagan Peoples.
