On Tuesday, May 9, West Kelowna Council adopted the 2022-2026 Strategic Priorities which sets the course for the new four-year Council Term. The strategy includes the continuation of the four key pillars and many priority projects across the City that reflect Council’s commitment to making West Kelowna truly the place to be.   About Council's Strategic Priorities

Council’s 2022 – 2026 Strategic Priorities build on that of the previous Council, and reflect the forward-thinking vision of West Kelowna’s 2022 – 2026 Council with continuous input from the community. It’s important that the community is continually represented during the development of Council’s strategic priorities and throughout the implementation. 

On April 11, Council introduced their Draft Strategic Priorities at their Regular Council Meeting, which sets out the direction for 2022 – 2026. Council’s Strategic Priorities outlines the corporate direction, objectives, priorities and resource alignment to accomplish Council’s goals. Council conducts reviews of its strategic priorities throughout the year, and on an annual basis, to make adjustments that maximize the investments to the community. These priorities speak to the commitment to to engaging the community to make West Kelowna a welcoming, safe and inclusive place, resilient in the face of challenges, and rich with opportunity for all ages.
